Article Writing – A Review – 4 Day- Make Money Blueprint

Article Writing

Do you think you can’t write articles? If you can write a note or a letter, you are a writer and you can write articles.

Do you believe you must be an artist to succeed at article writing and marketing?  Think again!

Writers like to surround themselves with the mystique of art. Some say writing is an inborn talent. I disagree. Most writing is a learned craft. Think about this. How many newspaper reporters, magazine writers, ad-copy writers, and internet bloggers do you label as artists? Not many, maybe none. You can learn to write easily.  You don’t have to be an artist.

This is a review of 4 Day-Make Money Blueprint, an integrated course on article marketing and article writing designed with the beginner in mind.  This is hands down the best course on article writing/article marketing I have come across. Imagine having your article appear on the first page of a Google search!  This course will teach you how to do that.

I wanted very much to be unbiased and honest in this review, but I just cannot find anything to criticize.

David Bocock has created a step-by-step guide for the newbie that walks you through the process of finding a product, writing an article on the product, publishing your article, and finally marketing your article.

You can see a picture of the e-course on the left.  Notice that its title is “Conversations with Travis Sago, The Original Bum Marketer”.  That is the original title but those of us that have studied the course and used it, now refer to it as the 4 Day-Make Money Blueprint.

I can make one observation about this course and it is an observation, not a criticism.  The course does not go into deep underlying theory about all the possible writing techniques and publishing techniques that only experience can truly teach you.  Do you want to be able to get started right away and make money right away?  This course is designed to do just that.

Let me outline a little about what you will get in this course.

Article Writing – 7 Tips on How to Improve Your Writing and Make Money

There is common denominator, a common factor that joins us together as article marketers. In writing an article, we want to sell product. It sets us apart from the essayist or the novelist. Although, you could say that they are selling something as well because they sell an idea or they sell their story.

If you are reading this, I will assume that you want to improve your writing and increase your profits. Learn more about marketing your article click here.

Here are seven ways to improve your writing skills and ultimately earn you more money from your efforts.

  • Make your title grab the reader so that he will want to read what you have to say.  Use keywords in your title.  Still, do not stuff your title with keywords. The title needs to make sense and it should promise the potential reader an answer to his spoken or unspoken question.
  • Keywords are important.  Without them, you will not get exposure.  Maintain a balance between content and keywords. You can easily insert keywords and keyword phrases in your content that are relevant to your content.  Now that the search engines pay attention to Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI), there is very little reason to stuff your article with any one keyword or keyword phrase.

LSI is simply a search engine’s ability to find words related to your keyword not by definition but more by the context of the article.  This allows the author much more flexibility in his choice of words and, consequently, it allows an author the ability to write better content and still “sell” his product.

  • Keep your articles short 400 – 700 words should be enough, of course, there always exceptions. Remember that readers these days have a short attention span.  Read any documentation on web browsing and you will find that most web surfers do not spend more than a few seconds looking at a web page.  Your article is no different.
  • Read what other authors are saying about your topic.  You can learn what to do and what not to do.  The easiest way to learn from this technique is to ask yourself if you would want to sign your name to that article.  If the answer is yes, then study that article for content, word usage, grammar, and title. Chances are others will want to read that article too. If the answer is no, ask yourself why you would not sign your name to it and note those reasons.  You can avoid making the same mistakes.
  • Read your article aloud.  How does it sound? This can help identify weakness in the flow of the content. It will also show you where you may have left out a word.  When you read it silently, the eye often sees what is not there.  Words like “the”, “and”, “a”, and “an” are skipped over and might be left out of your written text.
  • Don’t forget to look for these misspellings: “your and you’re”; “there and their”; and “its and it’s”
  • Write from your own knowledge base.  If you are unfamiliar with the subject matter, do research.  There are journals, books, magazines, and then there is the Internet. You can find an unlimited amount of information on any subject from anywhere in the world.  The Internet knows no boundaries.  You can gather information bit by bit in a very short time and write a 400-700 word article quickly.  You will not copy this information, but rather gather facts that you then put into your own words.
